Gold M4-2   In 1979 1000 Gold M4-2's  with matching 50/1.4 Summilux were made  to commemorate Oskar Barnack's birth in 1879, the inventor of the Leica camera.   Serial numbers 1527201-1527700, and 1528151-1528650.  They are engraved with copy Oskar's signature, as well as "1879-1979."  

Factory records show two more M4-2 Gold made in 1993, numbers 1932001 and 1932002.
